Texco Steel Ltd is a fabrication and welding engineering workshop providing a variety of services to a range of industries. The core activities of the company are structural steel, seismic strengthening and architectural metalwork. There is also a renewed focus on services and products for infrastructure projects, plant and equipment manufacturing, repairs and maintenance work, and steelwork integrated into civil engineering projects. 

We have experience in all types of steel fabrication, from simple house beams to large portal structures and bridge building.  As well as a dedicated stainless workshop, an expansive metalwork area and our combined office / workshop, the complex is arranged to handle any mixture of project whilst being flexible enough to be repositioned to accept any type of fabrication. Other services include machining, profile cutting, transportation of light & heavy steel, on-site welding equipment, portable generators, all-terrain scissor lift, electric scissor lift and installation including a 25 Tonne rough terrain crane with operator.

Texco Steel has also worked on many of Christchurch’s high-end residential properties, providing architectural features such as aluminium louvres, handrails stairways and balconies

Our 30-strong team of tradesmen, certified welders and site installation crews are well supported by a team of technical and administrative staff, including experienced project managers, a quantity surveryor and design draftsmen. All our shop drawings are produced on the latest 3D modelling software, and pass through our internal quality assurance system. Texco Steel Ltd also has strong relationships with numerous welding sub-contractors with additional fabrication resources should a job demand it.
